I love football as much as the next guy (and more than a couple of girls I know), but enough is enough. I remember not too many years ago when the national championship was on NEW YEARS DAY! Then, I remember when they shifted the ONE GAME to January 2, just to give it a special focus. Again, no problem with that. But in the year 2007 there are about 4 bowls AFTER New Years Day. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT??
And, each of those games has its own night. Why is this? MONEY. Plain and simple.
Lets do away with the BCS, with bowls, and take NCAA Div 1 football to a PLAYOFF system, and have a REAL national champion. Then I could deal with it taking so long!!!
