Glad you asked . . . Okay, I know this is a stretch, but the reason I teed it up that way is that for the first time in my life, I am on almost two consecutive weeks of vacation. The last Sunday night through this morning, I was in Garden City with my folks. This morning, we left early to drive to meet Diana’s family for ANOTHER week at a different beach — The drive was 10 hours long, and the different beach is DESTIN, FL.
~ It was the drive that never ends . . . it just goes on and on my friend
~ Some people started driving it not knowing what it was . . . and we’ll continue DRIVING it FOREVER just because —
The beach house is really nice. It is only a few hundred yards from where they filmed the Jim Carrey movie “The Truman Show.” So this week, I will have two FIRSTS in my life:
1. I have never done 2 weeks in a row
2. I have never done a week on the gulf coast
And, I GUARANTEE I will come off looking like Clark W. Griswald in it all!
